The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 28,738.00 with a loss of -0.84% percent or -242.00 point.The  Nifty Future is trading at 14,986.20 with a loss of -0.79% percent or -120.05 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 29,092.00  with +0.05% percent or +14.00 point.


The declines followed a weaker overnight finish on Wall Street that left the Nasdaq down nearly 10% from its February record high, as remarks by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell failed to calm investors worried about rising longer-term U.S. bond yields. .N Treasury yields jumped during U.S. trading hours after Powell’s speech, sending the 10-year yield to top 1.5%.

“The move of the U.S. long-term bond yields is now the centre of the attention for stock investors,” said Yoshihiro Takeshige, general manager at the investment management department of Asahi Life Asset Management.


For the day Nikkei 225 is trading at 28,864.32  with a loss of –0.23% percent or – 65.79 point.the  nifty closed at 15,004.50  with a loss of –0.51% percent or ?77.15 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,208.70 with a loss of –0.096% percent or –28.09 point.

For the day the Dow is trading at 30,924.14 with a loss of -1.11%percent or  -345.95 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,768.47  with a loss of -1.34% percent or -51.25 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 12,723.47 with a loss of -2.11% percent or  -274.28 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 28,764.27  with a loss of -0.57%percent or -165.84 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,321.91 up with +0.29%percent or +85.12 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,520.88  up with +0.50% percent or +17.39 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 50,744.79 with a loss of  -0.20% percent or -101.29 point at 12:15 PM.
