Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 28 June 2018

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 22,260.00 up with +0.13% percent or +30.00 point .The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 10,623.80  with a loss of  -0.47% percent or -49.70 point.  The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,401.00 up with +0.10% percent or +29.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

As early declines in Japan and South Korea moderated by late morning, stock indexes across Asia were little changed Thursday, roughly split between and up and down.

Hong Kong stocks HSI, +0.50%   rose 0.5% after closing Wednesday at a six-month low. As hand-wringing on retail-investor demand for Xiaomi’s IPO has circulated, a much-smaller deal has taken off. Grace Wine 8146, +113.46%  , which raised HK$40.6 million ($5.2 million) in its deal to fund growth efforts, jumped 49% from its IPO price Wednesday and surged a further 92% on Thursday.

For the day the Dow is trading at 24,117.59 with a loss of -0.68% percent or  -165.52 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,699.63 with a loss of -0.86% percent or -23.43 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,445.08  with a loss of -1.54% percent or  -116.54 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,270.39 with a loss of – 0.0062% percent or -1.38 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,468.11 up with + 0.39% percent or +111.51 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,786.90 with a loss of  -0.93% percent or  -26.28 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 35,139.80 with  a loss of -0.22% percent or  -77.31 point at 12:15 PM.
