Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 19 December 2018

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 20,942.50 up with +0.11% percent or +22.50 point .The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 10,990.50  up with +0.51% percent or +55.45 point.  The Hang Seng Future is trading at 25,918.00 up with +0.38% percent or +98.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Japan’s benchmark Nikkei 225 was down 0.8% in late afternoon trade, while South Korea’s benchmark Kospi index was up 0.7%.

In China , Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index was up 0.13% in afternoon trade, and the Shanghai Composite was down 0.43%.

Australia’s benchmark S&P/ASX 200 meanwhile closed down 0.16% to 5,580.6 points.
