Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 26 February 2019

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 21,482.50 up with +0.01% percent or +2.50 point .The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 10,867.50 with a loss of -0.18% percent or -19.55 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,773.50 up with +0.16% percent or +46.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The biggest gainers of the session on the Nikkei 225 were Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co Ltd (T:4506), which rose 2.93% or 81.0 points to trade at 2849.0 at the close. Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd. (T:4568) added 2.78% or 110.0 points to end at 4060.0 and Terumo Corp. (T:4543) was up 2.14% or 143.0 points to 6827.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Inpex Corp. (T:1605), which lost 3.84% or 43.5 points to trade at 1090.5 in late trade. Nissan Chemical Industries, Ltd. (T:4021) declined 3.09% or 180.0 points to end at 5640.0 and Kubota Corp. (T:6326) shed 2.90% or 45.5 points to 1526.0.
