Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 10 July 2019

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 21,498.00 with a loss of -0.01% percent or -2.00 point.The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 11,490.00 with a loss of -0.56% percent or -64.35 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,225.00 up with +0.41% percent or +116.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Biggest losers included Showa Denko K.K. (T:4004), which lost 3.16% or 96.0 points to trade at 2944.0 in late trade. Tosoh Corp. (T:4042) declined 2.62% or 40.0 points to end at 1485.0 and Mitsui Mining Smelting Co. (T:5706) shed 2.61% or 65.0 points to 2428.0.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.63% or 0.94 to $58.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.26% or 0.81 to hit $64.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 6.15 to trade at $1394.35 a troy ounce.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,191.99 up with +0.27% percent or +75.71 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,915.30  with a loss of -0.44% percent or -12.93 point.
