Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 12 September 2019

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 21,587.50  with a loss of -1.07% percent or -232.50 point.The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 11,028.50 with a loss of  -0.29% percent or -32.30 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 27,077.50  with a loss of -0.12% percent or -31.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Japan equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Paper & Pulp, Railway & Bus and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 added 0.75% to hit a new 3-month high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Nikkei 225 were Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (T:7912), which rose 9.31% or 230.0 points to trade at 2700.0 at the close. Dainippon Screen Mfg. Co., Ltd. (T:7735) added 5.50% or 345.0 points to end at 6615.0 and Okuma Corp. (T:6103) was up 4.23% or 240.0 points to 5910.0 in late trade.

 For the day Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,759.61 up with +0.75% percent or +161.85 point. the nifty closed at 11,015.85  with a loss of –0.18% percent or –19.85 point.Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,087.63 with a loss of –0.26% percent or –71.43 point.

For the day the Dow is trading at 27,137.04 up with +0.85% percent or +227.61  point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,000.93 up with +0.72% percent or +21.54 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,169.68 up with +1.06% percent or +85.52  point.
