Nikkei Futures Update : 29 Sept 2021

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 29,633.00 with a loss of -0.96% percent or -287.00 point.The Nifty Future is trading at 17,699.50 with a loss of -0.27% or -48.70 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 24,597.50 with +0.50% percent or +122.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Domestic equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading weak on Wednesday, a day before the expiry of September futures and options contracts of Nifty and Bank Nifty. BSE Sensex was hovering around 59,165, while Nifty 50 was ruling below 17650. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Bajaj-Auto, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) were top BSE Sensex laggards. Power Grid Corporation of India, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), HCL Tech, Sun Pharma, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) were top BSE Sensex gainers. Nifty Bank index fell 1.3 per cent to 37,450. Nifty Auto, Nifty Financial Services indices fell up to 1.4 per cent.

For the day Nikkei 225 is trading at 29,544.29  with a loss of  2.12% percent or –639.67  point.the  nifty closed at 17,663.20 with a loss of –0.48% percent or -85.40 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,650.64 up with +0.61%or +150.25 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 34,299.99  with a loss of –1.63% percent or 569.38 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 4,352.63 with a loss of  –2.04% percent or –90.48 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 14,546.68  with a loss of 2.83% percent or –423.29  point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 29,448.60 with a loss of –2.44% percent or –735.36 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,565.95 up with +0.27% percent or ++65.56 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,554.49 with a loss of –1.34% percent or 48.26  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 59,178.49  with a loss of 0.82% percent or 0.82% point at 12:15 PM.
