Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 21 Jan. 2020

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 23,842.50  with a loss of –0.07% percent or -17.50 point.The  Nifty Future is trading at 12,214.80 with a loss of -0.39% percent or -48.35 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,020.00 with a loss of -2.35% percent or -675.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The biggest gainers of the session on the Nikkei 225 were Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (T:7003), which rose 2.34% or 23.0 points to trade at 1006.0 at the close. Tokyo Dome Corp. (T:9681) added 1.98% or 21.0 points to end at 1082.0 and Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd. (T:2269) was up 1.33% or 100.0 points to 7610.0 in late trade.
