India got a thumbs up from foreign investors as FDI recorded a new high at $81.72 billion in FY21, around 10% higher than $72.39 in FY20. “Measures taken by the government on the fronts of foreign direct investment (FDI) policy reforms, investment facilitation and ease of doing business have resulted in increased FDI inflows into the country,” a government statement said.
