The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 28,740.00 with a loss of -1.84% percent or -540.00 point.The Nifty Future is trading at 18,166.20 with -0.82% or -150.45 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 25,945.50 with a loss of -0.80% percent or -210.50 point.
TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
The frontline equity indices on the BSE and National Stock Exchange (NSE) erased their early gains and were trading over 0.5 per cent lower in the early afternoon deals on Thursday weighed by market heavyweight Reliance Industries (RIL) and information technology (IT) stocks.
At 12:22 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 434.50 points (0.71 per cent) at 60,825.46, while the Nifty 50 was at 18,152.95, down 113.65 points (0.62 per cent). Both the indices had begun in the green but gave up their gains within an hour into the trade.
