Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 11 July 2018

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 21,880.00 with a loss of -0.14% percent or -30.00 point .The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 10,940.00  with a loss of – 0.07% percent or -7.80 point.  The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,270.00 with a loss of -1.33% percent or -380.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

But benchmarks recovered from session lows, with indexes in China, Hong Kong and Japan all down around 1.5%. Australia’s S&P/ASX XJO, -0.68%  , Korea’s Kospi and Taiwan’s Taiex Y9999, -0.74%  narrowed their declines to less than 1%, while New Zealand’s benchmark NZ50GR, -0.24%   was little changed. S&P 500 futuresESH9, -0.86%   fell 0.8%

After three days of solid gains, Japan’s Nikkei NIK, -1.19%   was last down 1.3%, with exporters hit the hardest. Automakers Honda 7267, -1.07%  , Toyota7203, -0.27%   and Nissan 7201, -2.06%   all fell, while chip-equipment maker Advantest 6857, -0.76%   and imaging manufacturer Canon 7751, -0.48%   dropped around 1%.

 For the day Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,932.21  with a loss of  -1.19% percent or -264.68 point.the nifty closed at 10,953.40 up with +0.056% percent or +6.15 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,311.69 with  a loss of -1.29% percent or -370.56 point. 

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 24,919.66 up with +0.58% percent or +143.07 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,793.84 up with +0.35% percent or +9.67 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,759.20 up with +0.039% percent or  +3.00 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,932.21  with a loss of  -1.19% percent or -264.68 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,293.27 with a loss of -1.36% percent or  -388.98 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,777.77 with a loss of -1.76% percent or -49.85 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,324.02 up with +0.23% percent or  +84.40 point at 12:15 PM.
