Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 23 July 2018

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 22,380.00 with 0.00%  percent or 0.00  point .The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 11,048.20 up with +0.21% percent or +23.35 point.  The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,219.00  with  a loss of -0.02% percent or  -5.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Asian shares were mostly lower as investors continued to worry about how a trade row might develop.

The benchmark Nikkei 225 was 1.33% lower at 22,396.99, while South Korea’s Kospi index was down 0.9% at 2,269.31.

In Australia, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index was 0.9% lower at 6,227.60.

In China, a fall in healthcare shares driven by a vaccines scandal limited gains. The Shanghai Composite was up 1% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index was broadly flat.
