Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 25 July 2018

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 22,610.00 up with +0.04%  percent or +10.00  point . The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 11,157.00 up with +0.13% percent or +14.50 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,913.00 up with +0.94% percent or +270.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Asian stock markets were mostly higher in early trading Wednesday. The gains followed solid advances in Europe overnight as well as for the Dow and S&P. But S&P 500 futures ESU8, -0.12%   were down 0.2% in Asia, perhaps signaling things may not be bright again in the U.S. for Wednesday’s trading.

Japan’s Nikkei NIK, +0.46%   edged up 0.4%, as steel makers JFE Holdings5411, +2.98%   and Nisshin Steel 5413, +2.21%   rallied. While most automakers gained, Mitsubishi Motors 7211, -3.88%   sank despite beating earnings expectations Tuesday.

 For the day  Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,614.25 up with +0.46% percent or +103.77 point.the nifty closed at 11,138.15 up with +0.035% percent or +3.85 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,920.90 up with +0.90% percent or +258.33 point. 

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,241.94 up with +0.79% percent or +197.65 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,820.40 up with +0.48% percent or +13.42 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,840.77  with a loss of -0.014% percent or ?1.10 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,614.25 up with 0.46% percent or +103.77 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,923.52 up with +0.91% percent or +260.95 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,903.65  with  a loss of  -0.066% percent or ?1.92 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,915.78 up with  +0.25% percent or +90.68  point at 12:15 PM.
