Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 07 August 2018

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 22,660.00 up with +0.13%  percent or +30.00  point .The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 11,427.00  up with +0.11% percent or +12.80 point.  The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,173.00 up with +1.60% percent or +445.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Asian stock markets were largely up to start Tuesday’s trading following fresh gains to begin the week on Wall Street.

Chinese indexes jumped out to near-1% gains in early trading after hitting fresh multiyear lows Monday as the U.S.-China trade fight continues. The Shanghai Composite SHCOMP, +2.74%   was last up 1% and the smaller-cap Shenzhen Composite 399106, +2.75%   was up 0.9%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng HSI, +1.54%   advanced 0.6%, Casino stocks were among the biggest gainers, with Galaxy Entertainment 0027, +1.87%   and Sands China 1928, +3.23%  advancing. Tech industry heavyweight Tencent 0700, +1.13%   dipped 0.5%.

 For the day Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,662.74 up with +0.69% percent or +155.42 point.the nifty closed at 11,384.30  with a loss of -0.025% percent or -2.80 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,248.88 up with +1.54% percent or +429.32 point. 

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,502.18 up with +0.16% percent or +39.60 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,850.40 up with +0.35% percent or +10.05 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,859.68 up with +0.61% percent or +47.66 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,662.74 up with +0.69% percent or +155.42 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,227.13 up with +1.47% percent or  +407.57 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,779.37  up with +2.74% percent or +74.22  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,713.15 up with +0.056% percent or +21.26 point at 12:15 PM.
