Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 13 September 2018

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 22,673.00  up with +0.50% percent or+118.00 point .The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 11,439.80  up with +0.24% percent or  +26.85 point.  The Hang Seng Future is trading at 26,993.00 up with +2.48% percent or +652.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

After widespread declines to start the week, Asian stock markets bounced back Thursday, led by strong gains in Japan and Hong Kong, as the U.S. offered to renew trade talks with China.

After falling for seven of the past nine sessions, Japan’s Nikkei NIK, +0.96%   was up nearly 1% as the index looked to get back to positive territory for 2018. SoftBank 9984, +4.72%   was up more than 3%, and export-reliant companies such as Toyota 7203, +1.83%   and Honda 7267, +1.96%   were up more than 1%.

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,998.92 up with +0.11% percent or +27.86 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,888.92   up with +0.036% percent or +1.03 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,954.23  with a loss of -0.23% percent or -18.25 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,821.32  up with +0.96% percent or +216.71  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,014.49  up with +2.54% percent or  +669.45 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,686.58  up with  +1.15% percent or  +30.47 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,717.96 up with +0.81%  percent or  +304.83 point at 12:15 PM.
