Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 22 August 2019

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 20,548.00  with a loss of -0.35% percent or -72.00 point.The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 10,735.80 with a loss of -1.80% percent or -197.90 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 25,860.00   with a loss of -1.41% percent or -371.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The biggest gainers of the session on the Nikkei 225 were Shiseido Co., Ltd.(T:4911), which rose 5.55% or 449.0 points to trade at 8543.0 at the close. Dainippon Screen Mfg. Co., Ltd. (T:7735) added 3.28% or 200.0 points to end at 6300.0 and Nomura Holdings Inc (T:8604) was up 2.27% or 9.0 points to 405.3 in late trade.
