Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 07 Jan. 2020

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 23,457.50 with a loss of –0.10% percent or –22.50 point.The  Nifty Future is trading at 12,092.00 up with +0.40% percent or +48.30 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 28,373.00 up with +0.68% percent or +192.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The biggest gainers of the session on the Nikkei 225 were Yokogawa Electric Corp. (T:6841), which rose 5.63% or 107.0 points to trade at 2008.0 at the close. Fujifilm Holdings Corp. (T:4901) added 5.60% or 289.0 points to end at 5446.0 and Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (T:7003) was up 4.59% or 40.0 points to 911.0 in late trade.
