The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 16,585.00 up with +0.21% percent or +35.00  point.The  Nifty Future is trading at 8,196.00 with  a loss of -2.77% percent or -233.45 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 21,713.50  with a loss of -1.33% percent or -292.50 point.


Japan’s share benchmark Nikkei fell to a 3-1/2-year low on Thursday, reversing early gains as panic selling over the coronavirus pandemic overshadowed a massive shot of stimulus from the world’s major central banks.

The Nikkei average .N225 rose as much as 2.6% at one point but closed down 1.04% at 16,552.83, its lowest close since November 2016. It has fallen about 30% in the past four weeks.

The Nikkei’s volatility index .JNIV , a measure of investors’ volatility expectations based on option pricing and considered to be a fear gauge, rose 4.2% to 58.45, not far from Monday’s nine-year peak of 60.86.


 For the day Nikkei 225 is trading at 16,552.83 with a loss of  –1.04% percent or –173.72 point.the  nifty closed at 8265.35 with a loss of -2.40% percent or -203.45  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 21,836.73 with  a loss of –2.04% percent or –455.09 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 19,898.92  with a loss of –6.30% percent or –1,338.46 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,398.10 with a loss of –5.18% percent or –131.09  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 6,989.84 with a loss of –4.70% percent or –344.94  point.
