Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 09 April. 2020

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 19,560.00 up with +3.38% percent or +640.00 point.The  Nifty Future is trading at 9,049.25 up with +3.41% percent or +298.70 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 24,314.00 up with +2.31% percent or +550.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Tokyo shares ended lower on Thursday, even as Wall Street peers rallied, as investors remained cautious and worried about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on corporate Japan’s earnings.

The benchmark Nikkei average .N225 eased 0.04% to 19,345.77, despite Wednesday’s big rally on Wall Street.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI and the S&P 500 .SPX advanced 3.4% each, while the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC gained 2.6% on hopes that the pandemic may be peaking and Bernie Sanders’ decision to suspend his presidential campaign.

For the day the Dow is trading at 23,433.57 up with +3.44% percent or +779.71  point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,749.98 up with +3.41% percent or +90.57 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,090.90 up with +2.58% percent or +203.64  point.
