Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 21 September 2018

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 23,768.00 up with +5.35% percent or +1,208.00 point . The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 11,168.50 with a loss of -1.25% percent or  -141.70 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 27,914.50 up with +1.66% percent or +455.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Japanese stock indexes hit multi-month highs on Friday as ebbing concerns about global trade tensions and bullish views on the U.S. economy supported commodities and manufacturing firms.

The Nikkei share average .N225 gained 0.8 percent to 23,869.93, the highest close since Jan. 24. The next milestone is the 24,129.34 level hit on Jan. 23, a break of which would put the index at its highest since November 1991.
