Nikkei Futures Opening Update as on 27 September 2019

The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 21,855.00 up with +0.21% percent or +45.00 point.The NSE Nifty Future is trading at 11,631.00 up with +0.52% percent or +59.80 point. The Hang Seng Future is trading at 25,953.00 with a loss of  -0.27% percent or –69.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The biggest gainers of the session on the Nikkei 225 were Fanuc Corp. (T:6954), which rose 2.23% or 445.0 points to trade at 20410.0 at the close. SUMCO Corp. (T:3436) added 1.86% or 27.0 points to end at 1477.0 and Advantest Corp. (T:6857) was up 1.69% or 80.0 points to 4820.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included The Kansai Electric Power Co. (T:9503), which lost 5.71% or 79.5 points to trade at 1314.0 in late trade. Sumitomo Corp. (T:8053) declined 4.60% or 81.5 points to end at 1692.0 and The Chiba Bank, Ltd. (T:8331) shed 4.42% or 26.0 points to 562.0.
